Nanuoya Railway Station

   Nanuoya Railway station is very important railway station of Sri Lanka. Biggest and most important before Badulla railway station is Nanuoya. Kandy, Nawalapitiya, Nanuya, Bandarawela and Badulla railway stations are main railway stations of upcountry. Sevaral trains come to Nanuoya railway station and only Udarata manike, Podimanike and freight train are come up with Nanuoya railway station and others are stopped at there. There are three station masters at Nanuoya railway station and several platforms are on it. Advanced signaling system and ancient goods are kept in a hall. Before some deckays there was a little railway to Udupussallawa from Nanuoya railway station. Sevaral bridges, tunnels, tea estates, waterfalls are at closed to Nanuoya railway station. About 6km to Nuwaraeliya towan from Nanuoya and distance to Nuwaraeliya is minimum at Nanuoya station. Nuwaraeliya havent railway. Most of tourists get down in Nanuoya station to travel to Nuwaraeliya.

 Nanuoya is very beautiful place and it is closed to Nuwaraeliya. The special train is travel to Nanuoya from Fort. It is express train and 2nd class tickets only available. .

 Nanuoya and closed places are near to Nuwaraeliya area.
