Gelioya

Gelioya railway station is at between Gampola and Peradeniya railway stations and is it main turning point to Ambakka, Gadaladeniya and Lankathilaka temples of Udunuwara area. Ganhatha and Weligalla and some famous places closed to Gelioya railway sttion. Gelioya main bus stand and railway station is some what closer and easy to access. There are very little distant to Lankathilake ancient temple. Express trains goes to Badulla or Nanuoya does not stopps at Gelioya railway station because some slow trains are working via Gellioya.

Where is Gelioya

Gelioya town is 118Km far away from Colombo and along A1to Peradeniya and then need to tarvel Gampola road 10km. Gelioya is at Between Paredeniya and Gampola. There is a sub way to Udunuwara area to visit Lankathilaka temple.

Places to Visit at Gelioya

Gelioya is not a very much popular place, but it is turnng point to visit some ancient temples,
