Parakumpura
Parakumpura is a single way and sub-railway station between Nanuoya and Ambewela railway stations. This railway station had been established in after long time. Before established this railway station distance between Nanuoya and Ambewela is longest distance which have non stations in Sri Lanka.
Parakumpura is high 1700m above from sea level. Parakumpura is very famous for vegetables and tea plantations. Several tea estates can be visited in Parakumpura place. Population of Parakumpura is lower than other places. The waterfall called Elgin is very closed to Parakumpura place. It is situated at between Ambewela and Parakumpura railway stations.
There is a big and deep railway bridge near Elgin waterfalls. Elgin waterfall can be seen in railway.

Parakumpura is a rural village of Sri Lanka at closed to Nanuoya. There are no main way to travel Parakumpura and trains availble to travel in there. Parakumpura is high about 1650m above from sea level.
